Platform.5  Youth & Art is an offshoot of Platform Art.   Platform.5 Youth and Art is an annual program that showcases area students artistic accomplishments in the visual arts, short film, fashion, sound and performance. The program features work by students grades 1-12.  This program is produced in collaboration with the Prodigy Program (for at risk youth), Explorations V Children's Museum, Florida Dance Theatre, the Junior Women’s Club of Lakeland and other community groups. The Platform.5 program supports the early efforts of young students and encourages students to continue to pursue art throughout their school careers.  

Platform.5 Youth & Art is funded in part by the George W. Jenkins Fund within the Community Foundation, the Target Corporation and the City of Lakeland.  Admission is FREE to all students.
